Holiday Decor – Festive and Neutral
The ‘go neutral’, we are not referring to the Christmas tree is decorated with shades of brown and gray, but more decorative for the holidays without specifically requested by one or other of the traditional religious themes, and the next holiday.
In today’s culturally diverse world really is a challenge to decorate a public place like an office lobby in a way that does not hurt, who do not feel that the holiday is recognized. Similar challenges exist households that are multi-cultural, and parents from different religious backgrounds. Of course, could simply choose a decorative holiday season. Baa Humbug!
Another way to deal with is to celebrate the season celebrating the beauty of nature, and the appropriate settings, coating an ultra-modern way that breaks away from the traditional colors and themes.
Lights is one of the best ways to recognize the Christmas season. When we see the sparkling white lights begin to go up in the trees along the built-up area shopping mall, you are a cue that the holidays fast approaching. Stay with me as opposed to white light, red, green or blue line to go to the neutral decoration.
If you go for an evergreen tree, decorate it with organic elements such as feathers, pomegranate, berries, apples, pears, pine cones, white birch branches, faux animals like birds. Colorful ribbons cascading from the top of the tree a good substitute for the traditional star or angel cover. Candles are also a fabulous way to decorate. Because of the living flame and dripping wax can be a safety hazard, we recommend that the candle is lit the LED lamps, which look surprisingly realistic. To make the scents of the holidays, live flowers, where possible. Forget the use of Poinsettias and holiday options, such as Narcissus and Amaryllis plants. In a large bowl of oranges studded with cloves and looking pretty great way to get a delicious scent wafting through the lobby of your home or office desk.
Some other options may be non-traditional color scheme of silver, white, purple, or a sophisticated black, white and red scheme. Candy apple green and electric blue sure that attention and works well in contemporary settings. Snowmen and snow is always fun, especially the environment in which young children are present. Silver and gold can also be used to recall the feeling of elegance. Tiffany box blue, silver and white color scheme, consider the other high.
If you are decorated in a modern style setting, forget the light and go to the ‘bling’. Get a tinfoil timber decorated with silver or pink, purple, green, red and bright blue. Faux trees, small voice from the ceiling upside down in groups of three or five. A table centerpiece, fill a large black glass brightly colored ornaments of different sizes and shapes. Before guests arrive, a tall conical implant in the middle of the candle bowl (do not forget to hold a candle to the base of the bowl firmly!).
The key to holiday decorating, which is non-denominational fashion is to forget the ‘tradition’ and the fun shapes and colors of lights. There are no rules, so do not be afraid to break.
